Caravans have a bit of a notorious reputation don’t they? Jeremy Clarkson is forever bemoaning the terror caravan owners reek on the motorways during the summer, and I seem to remember a Top Gear episode where they resorted to blowing up the caravans! But the credit crunch is hitting most of us hard and if we want to have some fun in the sun this summer then cheap caravan holidays might be just what we need to get away from it all without going broke.
